Fuerteventura is a paradise for those who practice water sports. When the trade winds reach the island, there are perfect wind conditions in summer and with the onset of winter the waves are unbeatable.

In the north of the island known as the North Shore, there are countless sandy and reef beaches where surfers, kitesurfers and windsurfers take out their equipment for a session of their favorite sport.

One of the most famous waves of the island is the right of Lobos, known as the longest right of the Canary Islands. It emerges from the island of Lobos, located between Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.

The south of the island has endless beaches where you can display kites and sails, in the Playa de Sotavento, in Costa Calma takes place every year the World KiteSurfing and Windsurfing Championships.

The prestigious René Egli center is located there, where you can rent all the necessary equipment.

In the Corralejo area there are countless schools where you can get started in any of these sports.
