Since 1987, Playa del Burro, in Corralejo, celebrates the Fuerteventura Kite Festival, an event in which kites are the protagonists, with aerial fights and great figures that dance with the wind.

This festival originated in 1987, when a group of paragliding enthusiasts promoted a meeting that increasingly unites more and more people.

In recent years, the festival has been progressively consolidated, acquiring national and international repercussion.

Professional and amateur kite flyers from all over the world will meet from November 7 to 13, 2022, in the XXXV edition of the International Kite Festival to be held on Thursday 10 in El Cotillo and on Friday 11, Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 in the Dunes of Corralejo (Oliva Beach Hotel area).

An activity to enjoy with the family, where the little ones enjoy kites of all shapes and sizes, where cartoon characters and all kinds of original figures are represented.

The kites fly over one of the wonderful beaches that form the Natural Park of the Corralejo Dunes.
